Some realizations

I think this piece sparked the idea of the current change of my style. Suddenly I became interested with designs with a lote of intricate outlines that forms a very interesting motif. It has that tribal look to it but not. maybe oriental or eastern style.

I tried to push it more and Incorporate the style to any tattoo that i do. Like the lotus flower foot tattoo on this picture has all this delicate thin lines that im trying to incorporate on all of my work.

the two tattoos at the bottom has a pretty similar style, one has a very organic flowing form to it and the other one is supper geometric. I wonder how its gonna look like to combine the two?

This one is a healed piece. I really like how it turned out it has a japanese style tattooing elements to it, but i like the details on the turtle.

Roses and some abstract bio study

I have been really interested in trying a different method of tattooing from my works a year ago. Im trying to push my boundaries in terms of outlines. I painted this watercolor painting for my friend as a study, what i came up  with is half american traditional and half oriental style imagery.

This was the tattooed version of the rose.

This one is a watercolor study of a half sleeve, I was just messing around in terms of forms and shapes as well as colors. Ill try to paint more of these and try to incorporate a more distinguishable elements  to contrast with the abstractness of the piece.

Morning walks in my neighborhood

Every morning I wake up I go for a walk and discover cool views and new places in San Francisco.

Here's the view of the bay just a few blocks from where I live.

This church is called Grace Cathedral, every Tuesday I go to a free yoga class inside the church.

I love this gate and the design of it and its patina. It is near the park at Grace Cathedral.
